the first time when i met you i sat and wondered what is it that is different you will bring and how and whether it will materialise, however you proved to me that you are one of those that do things out of love and not out of money, what i saw between your relation with Eric is the fact that, both of you put your differences aside, background aside and used the little resources you had to make and impact in someones life.That is when i started consult the people i work with on various projects and made them aware of the fact that change that is positive will finally prevail.no more will we hear of making a difference but we will experience the benefits of a fighter,survivor son of the soil.In sesotho they say “Bahale batswalwa marweleng” and i had the opportunity to meet one in my life but unfortunately his journey recently came to an end and i made a promised to him before he passed on that i will be there for his daughter as companion.Hopefully one day i will introduce that special extraordinary human being to this academy to share with you her experiences and project she is and has worked on.

I will not stop until all the greatest leaders, friends and mentors joins hands with me, to extend the hand to those who are not priviledged, to make a difference together.

I did not join this academy to appear on the web like some people would who only think about themselves but am here to extend my knowledge, experiences and be a mentor to those who require my services, not long ago did i realise i possesed such a gift when one young girl approached me when i said am no longer gonna be involved in any student projects, let me put it in the present as she uttered: ” Mpondo how can you not continue making a difference if God gave you that gift, are you going to just give up on people like me who needs mentors like you not leaders, the little time i spent working with you had a positive impact on me, i learned new things that i thought i could never experience, please don’t give up on us”, well that touched my heart for i knew i am capable of making a difference to someone else’s life, build their leadership foundation, only then can i regard myself as a leader.

well Aubrey i am so looking forward to learning about the ideologies you possess that you believe will change the face of society in South Africa.

Portia I always say, if you are intelligent enough to identify a problem, then I believe with no doubt that you can also identify ways of solving it and what you have done I would like to believe is the first step (from you) to regenerating the morals of young women, Thank you.

Mpond, I read your profile and thought to my self, if Moac has people like this, if our country has young men like this, if I have a relationship with some one like what problem can we not solve? I trust and I believe with all of my heart that with you on our side we are going to do wonders, stay blessed my brother.

Kabelo, thank you for a very motivational comment, you made me take a moment and think for a moment if I knew what I got my self into, I would like to say, I know that this is a very big burden I (we) have put on our sholders, about two years ago, I went and have to present a motivation for matriculants and I remeber I said to them “If you aim at nothing in life you are bound to achieve nothing, so it is better to aim at something.” My aim is to change the would and when I sat ant thoght of how to do this, I told mysef if I can get intellectuals, like your sef, to understand my quest, I have nothing to worry about. Remember, Lennin once said;”it is far more difficult to unearth a dozen interlectuls than it is to unearth a hundred fools” I just hope and pray that you will be with us all the way and all will be fine.

Mbuyazi, I would like to than you for this, you may not have realized it, but you made me believe that there is still hope for my changing the would. One poet once said, “a friend is he who can sing the lyrics of the song of your heart when you have forgotten it,” I know we may not be the best of friends but my friend, you boldly and proudly sang my heart’s song and gave my the strength to sing along, please continue singing with me cause I now realise that if we keep singing it together, we can make enough noise to get everyone to hear it and eventually sing along. ON THE CONTRARY, I WOULD LIKE TO MENTION, NOT ALLUDE, THAT WE AS BOYS EXPLOITING OUR PSYCHOLOGICAL POWERS UPON YOU, IS A BAD AND IMMORAL DOING. It holds true in my opinion as well that poverty is and should be motivation enough for us to seek relief through education just as you have pointed out Maveva. On changing the mindset of society for the purposes of morale regeneration; Even I cannot really say what is it that it takes to achieve such goals but as you have come to realiaze- it is not that easy. But I belive that collectively we can do it.
