For most of my life I’ve been a prisoner of fear, pain, let me say depression.
As I summarize my life experiences it would be wise to highlight the symbolic meaning of various events rather than our human definitions. All that has been carved out of this tall mountain I’m busy climbing will bring greatness. Those little pieces must be used to build a bridge, close the cracks in this stormy weather. I therefore announce myself: Ndima; Ngalela, Levundo, Mbuyisa, Mbongo. Waka Sondiswa, Mthethwa, Khoza, ongaphekelwa nagmavila uphekelwe nge’skhuthali. Thokozani Mabongo.
My name is Mpondo 11 kaMhlanganiso Mbotho waka-Mbongo, A.K.A Macnetic M2O. I am from a family of leadership, one which in times of difficulty individual character is revealed. Neither poverty, nor sadness can kill its spirit for it has been anointed to lead. That is to me, a social responsibility that many ignore. I am currently studying Bcom Economics and Informatics at the North West University-Vaal Triangle Campus (NWU-VTC0. The foundation I grow to know is Ubuntu principles and however complicated this path is; I am the owner of the journey. I have big dreams and challenges are something I strive to excell in.
My father once told me; “Expect the unexpected, this world is cruel, prepare your arsenal”. At a young age, those were just words I found hard to understand. When my brother Eric mentioned Montshepetja I was hesitant to join because I am currently the elected president of the NWU-Vaal Dance Club, and principles we set for ourselves didn’t allow such. However, constraints in life force one to search for a companion that will give you skills and help you achieve your ultimate dream. I have searched and found Montshepetja for that particular role. Some things need teamwork and I’m a team player. I hope to learn as much as can be afforded from Montshepetja and give back the knowledge wherever I am heading. Home is where the heart is and my heart belongs in the KZN, hence some of my friends call me “the prince of KZN”, as they know the tasks I have to perform lying ahead. My road to success was never meant to be easy, but I will conquer.
“Treasured yesterday’s memories brings recognition for tomorrow” and to those who want to be like me; don’t wish for that: because “Imitating me is like self-destruction.” To build an empire, first, its completion must be in your mind.

IF I HADN’T MANAGED TO GET A PERSON OF YOUR CALIBRE TO JOIN THIS FAR GOING ACADEMY. I AM GLAD FOR THE FACT THAT THE WORLD NOW HAS ACCESS TO ONE PERSON WITH MAJORITY OF THE SKILLS MONTSHEPETJA WISHES TO DISTILLS AND WHO IS ALREADY INSPIRED TO PERFORM AND HAS DELIVERED IN THAT REGARD.
A CERTAIN PERSON ONCE SENT ME AN SMS STATING THAT MY FAILURE TO DO AS I HAVE PROMISED MYSELF OBSXURES THE WORLD AN OPPOTUNITY TO GROW AND TO HELP OTHERS GROW AS AN ADVANTAGE OF INDIVIDUAL GROWTH. IF YOU LOOK AT THE LOGO, WE HAVE RIGHT BELOW THE FOLLOWING WORDS “WALKING WITH COMMUNITIES ON WAYS TO CREATE THEIR OWN STARS.” A FACT, COMMUNITY HAS SUCCEEDED AS THEY HAVE GAVE A PERSON OF YOUR NATURE TO THE WORLD.
I USUALLY SAY FOR THE WHOLE COMMUNITY OR SOCIETY TO DEVELOP OR ADVANCE, AN INDIVIDUAL INTRODUCES WHATEVER THE ENTITY, MATERIAL OR OTHER THAT WILL LEAD TO THE COLLECTIVE ADOPTION, NOTHING STARTS COLLECTIVE.\
AS I SAID, WITH YOU , THE PATH I’LL WALK.
You know what you want from life.it is a great honour to be with you on this wonderful project
Let me first greet accordingly,to lady Stella and to you my brother Eric.Well i am glad there are people who recognise my contribution in the society i enrolled myself in as a leader and mentor. Mostly you would find there will come a time when even the toughest of leaders will need time to reflect and see whether the things they have planned to do have actually been properly executed.
in times of struggle what i observed throughout the years is the fact that our race and generation why as we are called have slagged in terms of participation and actually being leaders that work to be counted. In this trying times in the global society as we observe in awe the destruction of our resources, most especially the ozone layer, we must look at the future and actually be scared for the ones after us must be prepared to live in a world where robots will rule the world not because it is technological advancement but because the source of life that has protected generations way before our forefathers will have been destroyed by our very intellegent minds.
This days leadership role or character should be viewed in my opinion as proactive because if we don’t think for the future the little actions will destroy the most precious of Mother Earth.
Lets build each other spiritually, mentally, etc… well we must not only say it but we must live it holding hands and saying to the society we are the “Difference Makers” as the term is broadly used.we must not have a tendency where we will expect people to greet us as leaders only because the name tag or papertrail says we are leaders but the blue-print of our legacy should do the talking.that blue-print am talking about is the hearts we are about to touch, lives to improve and perceptions to update for we cannot change ones personal perception, it is an individual will.May God bless us with wisdom, strength and symbolic sight in everything we will do.
Lets be what we wanna be!
MAcnetic_M2O Peace!
we are the ones to make a better day…we are the world, children.just you and me.God bless us all
The new journey am about to venture!!
when i said:”through yesterday’s bruises unfolds rewards of commitment” i actually meant even through tough times as long as you commit yourself, you can do it, make it through.
I have travelled alien places feary to my spirit, tainting to my image and bleak to my sight.in the sense of things i so often had to deal with adjustment of which my spirited grew irritable at the change of the scenery.Despite the smell of the good aromas i met throughout my journey of life i learnt to take the first initiative as expecting the unexpected.
in those growing times my personality nor character developed a sense of security, the kind of armour that will be ready to defend the spirit at the presence of the destruction of the world, the image many took as arrogancy, pride. Many still today fear and reject the history my clan name holds, what they ommit is the type of responsibility and spotlight that puts me always. It will never be easy for me to just walk in any territory without feeling a bit unsafe and the past holds “blood shed” of innocent souls when heard by my spirited it makes me feel ashamed at the deeds of my great-ancestors.It is true and currently happening that ” when Shaka died”, the land was crossed and recrossed, people abandoned their source of blueprint, history, customs, traditions.instead of enhancing them, they were always striving to change things or in simple terms replace what always worked well and did not hinder none.
When i observe and learn of the ways of the kingdom of the Zulu Land, a part of me feels proud to be the above, and a part of me feels incomplete as the ways of the world has denied young people like the opportunity to learn of our road map(history).the oppression faced each day had hindered with the accuracy of African literature, westernising even our very own indigenious languages.Yes we all would like to have good quality education but it does not help if we replace our very own languages that forms part of our unique blueprint to life in order to have quality.Because we are unique in the Almighty’s eyes, that makes our own mother tounge unique.
Initiation schools this days are a place were young spirits are denied access into life. They no longer serve the true purpose as history dicatates, they use them as one of those business ventures, misleading and harming our brothers and sisters.Event the essential customery Nguni gatherings, some people are using them as a ” fashion show” instead of serving what it is supposed to serve.South Africa will forgive my statement to this very day but am feeling drained at the sight of what this world is heading to.There are things i wish my great-grandparents could teach me about being a true Zulu man, but knowing they would say “you have to travel that journey all by yourself, just like any other man must” i sit and wonder if it is a good thing or am i being denied access into my ancestoral land.talking of my ancestoral land, i believe it is the only place that holds the truth about my clan history, failures, achievements and positive influences. They say the youth of today are lost, but i disagree, it is the parents of today who are lost because when they take their children to ” private schools or model C schools” they forget to enhance the quality education of customs and tradition: “UBUNTU principles” my parents have always enforced at home[i thank them for that].Even if some people think my shy, quite character is all painted with arrogance, selfishness and pride.they are wrong and ignorant of the positive things i have done thus far because they are so caught up in doing wrong and eating the bigger piece of the pie that they ignore the fact that being a true difference maker lies in influencing the many tainted souls that deserve a second chance. But many of us want to joing organisation that are going to spoon-feed us to receive knowledge and growth, forgeting that in order to receive that we have to seek first, take the initiative.all many want is free lunch, travellings and not willing to work for that.It is the ultimate reason why when you observe the happenings of the corporate world nowadays, black-people are unable to stay longer in positions of management in influential companies across the globe due to the misconception that corruption, laziness, self-enrichment is the priorities to bring growth into a person’s life but unfortunately until we realise collective effort and self-respect comes first, which are one of the principles our customs have always upheld which we abandoned counts the most.A clean spirit is able to absorb and learn fast.
To all my brothers and sister out there, the journey to success does not come cheap. It will not be smooth, so don’t be narrow minded and only concentrate on one thing to get there, but open-minded in order for when one door closes, you know that you have ten extra ones open. You will come across obtacles like failing, don’t despair, where there is a will there is a way.It is there to make you learn of your weaknesses.
to conquer the world we need as many elements as we make seek.my first step into any recovery was to call upon God to guide me.In the darkest of all tunnels, that little light he showed me, i followed and was able to conquer many battles.
